The Allen Township Fire Co. #1 moved into it's present building located at the intersection of Howertown and Snowhill Roads in 1978. The 100' by 90' two story building houses the 6 fire department vehicles in the lower level. |

The upper level of the building is the social quarters
which is used for fund raising activities and community events. The Fire
Company Auxiliary provides catering to weddings, banquets and other
types of socials serving up to 300 people
. |
